boring night

being pregnant means less motivation for me. i wake up, take chichi for a walk, eat breakfast, read baby books, eat, spend all day outside, eat, take a bath, then go to sleep. my belly is getting so big and so tight. i need to get some pictures up. the baby is kicking like crazy. i'll be laying in bed and he just kicks the shit out of spleen. i'm 24 weeks now and the thought of going through labor has been running through my mind lately. it's 13 weeks away, but that will come so fast.i'm selling my car because bucket seats are no good for car seats. i'm starting at $3100 or whatever i can get out of it. my brother got a good job after he graduated highschool and he has already bought him a new honda civic si. he put the first mile on the car. he got a standard so i can't drive it at all. and he said i'm not allowed to get in it after i turn seven months pregnant to be on the safe side of my water never breaking in his car. my mom is going to be getting a new car soon and she's going to give me her trailblazer. i'm going to treat myself to a couple of things with the money i get from my car and then i'm going to save the rest. i think i'm going to buy . i'm gonna get some more baby clothes and things, too. everything i've been getting is green friendly and organic. gap has the cutest organic things, ever. i'm watching the movie, candy, with heath ledger in it right now. it's pretty good and he was a hot, hot man. finding something good to watch on television when you can't sleep is difficult. i usually end up watching some piece of shit movie that showtime plays over and over again. i'm drinking kool-aid and eating cool whip right out of the tub. i'm going to mow today and get my suntan on again. the doctor told me today that i had a good tan going on. my doctor is a hippie, but definitely a pretty cool guy.

i remember when i was drunk or stoned all i wanted to listen to was bright eyes or ida.
benji is away on the boat, but he had white roses, my favorite, sent to me on valentine's day.
am i the only one who still loves jason schwartzman? the darjeeling limited on dvd this month.
margot & the nuclear so and so's are working on a new album. that is very exciting to hear.
i can't wait til summer time. this gloomy not going outside weather is killing me.
i've been working again. two months of being unemployeed was pissing me off. i love having money.

btw, i found out friday that i'm pregnant. i go for an ultrasound on thursday. i'm taking huge vitamins.
my grandma did the ever so accurate pencil test on my wrist to determine the baby's gender. it says boy.
the pencil test is where you stick a needle attached to thread in a pencil's eraser and hold it above the wrist.
if it goes side to side, it's a girl. if it goes in a circle, it's a boy. of course, mine went in a circle.
i know that i have to have the following two things for little baby.

i had to take my little baby chief to the vet today! when he woke up he just wasn't acting right, kept scratching his ear and whimpering. when i looked in his ears he had little white bumps all inside and it really scared me! i called the vet and luckily he takes walk-ins after one on saturdays. don't get me wrong, going to the vet when your pet is hurting is the worse, but when i go there i love it because you have something in common with everyone there and that is that you're all animal lovers. everyone tells stories about the funny things their pets do and the sad times they've had when losing pets. while waiting to see the vet, chiefy got made over by everyone in there cause he was so tiny and he absolutely loved all the attention despite his ears hurting. when the vet finally saw us, he put that ear thing in his ear to look in it and chief just started crying and it almost made me cry. the vet told me that chief had a real bad ear infection and gave me some ointment that i have to put in his ears for the next ten days. he's actually already starting to feel better already tonight. i decided to stay in tonight because i wanted to make sure my little baby was alright.

friday night was kind of me and benji's valentine's day because he's going to be out on the boat the rest of the month of february and he'll miss the actually valentine's day. i don't really mind that, it comes with the situation that him and i are in. he took me out to a very nice dinner and took me to see strange wilderness. dinner was really nice and him and i actually didn't argue about anything that entire night. everyone should watch strange wilderness. and you should definitely watch it when you're stoned. it's hilarious.

i'm becoming to obsessed with the sweetest softest sleep on earth and aromatherapy sleep stuff from bath and body works. i have the oil warmer, bath soaks, body wash, lotion, pillow, blanket, socks, two different kinds of slippers, two kinds of pillow mist, the bath sponge, and now i have the eye mask! i only need a few more things to complete the collection. i'm so lame, but lavender smells so good and soft feels so good. ;] it's not that bad is it?

+ i got my ipod case to match, too. i'm an anal freak, hahah.

+ the flap of my purse has a zipper and it opens up and holds a bunch of stuff. it's great.

+ what i keep in my flap ;], japanese cherry blossom lotion and spray, rice flower and shea lotion, my favorite brush, one of my vices, gucci envy me lotion

i have been real into crafting and decorating during my spare time lately. i've noticed while packing my things up to move into the new house that most everything in my room has been handmade by myself or family members. my papal bob has re-furnished my vanity, made me a jewelry box, two little chests, a sitting bench, shelves, and boxes to place my pretty baskets. my mamal doris made my quilt on my bed and the cutest pillows with blue birds embroidered. my mamal maxine made me a beautiful white afghan. so i decided to keep the theme on-going and i'm going to decorate with a lot of homemade things. our most current craft project is upholstering an old couch:

do yourself a favor and watch the movie into the wild (imdb). it is such a great, great film. for some reason, i appreciate what that guy had done. read this from wikipedia: After graduating from Emory in 1990, he gave his $24,000 life savings to the charity Oxfam International and began traveling across the country, using the name "Alexander Supertramp." McCandless made his way through Arizona, California, and South Dakota, where he worked at a grain elevator. McCandless alternated between relatively settled periods, in which he was fairly gregarious and often worked a job, and time spent living with no money and little or no human contact, sometimes foraging successfully for food in the wild. He survived several dangerous trials during these wilderness periods, such as losing his car in a flash flood and canoeing alone down remote stretches of river and along the Gulf of California. McCandless took pride in surviving with a minimum of gear and funds, and generally made little preparation for his expeditions.

McCandless had dreamed of an "Alaskan Odyssey" for years: he would live off the land, far away from civilization, and keep a journal describing his physical and spiritual progress as he faced the forces of nature. In April 1992 McCandless successfully hitchhiked to Fairbanks, Alaska. He was last seen alive by James Gallien, who gave him a ride from Fairbanks to the Stampede Trail.
